Health and Safety in the Childminding Setting

Health and Safety in the Childminding Setting, is the second app that we’ve developed with NISCC.

The App features quizzes, checklists, videos, details of legislation and Minimum Standards, and is a valuable resource for daily use. It also has an assessment and an electronic certificate to reward completion and it allows a childminder to complete the training in their own time, on their own device and in their own home. This means that they don’t lose a day’s income in order to attend the face-to-face training and it also provides them with a handy reference tool to use in their place of work after the training has been completed.

Choosing Workforce Learning

Choosing Workforce Learning is an app we’ve developed for Skills for Care, the employer-led workforce development body for adult social care in England.

The app focuses on the evaluation of learning providers. It is designed to be used as an aide-memoir during an interview with a potential Social Care learning provider, and provides a handy 10 step evaluation to help you steer the conversation and capture the right information.

Encore

Encore is our new mobile learning solution that provides learners with content that is time delayed from the moment they take the initial learning. SpeechStorm

SpeechStorm provide prebuilt IVR, speech self-service and mobile apps that reduce waiting time for customers and reduce call handling times in the contact centre.

SpeechStorm enlisted the services of Paper Bag to consult on strategic planning and design/develop a proof-of-concept of this highly innovative and unique idea which received huge recognition when showcased at Mobile World Congress 2012.

SpeechStorm Mobile CEM for iPhone helps organisations reduce call volumes, make more efficient use of resources and improve customer experience by combining effective self-service and a unique way of managing interaction with the contact centre.

SpeechStorm Mobile CEM includes a range of out-of-the-box applications for common self-service functions, which, studies show, account for up to 60% of calls to contact centres. Providing customers with the information they require at their fingertips reduces the need for them to call the contact centre, resulting in significant savings for the organisation.

UK City of Culture 2013

The Derry/Londonderry UK City of Culture bid team engaged with Paper Bag to design and develop an iPhone app to support its bid.

The bid teams main objective with the app was to integrate with their existing social media streams.

This provided a single of point of reference for interested parties to follow the bid progress and a new innovative way for people to discover what the city had to offer.

The app provided a centrally integrated interface to bid information streaming the data from their official Facebook, Twitter and RSS feeds. Furthermore the application provided history of the city, photo galleries, top cultural attractions and a convenient way that allowed users to engage with bid team and share their cultural stories of the city.

The app was an important social networking that showed that the city was at the forefront of digital technology and ultimately assisted Derry/Londonderry to become the inaugural UK City of Culture 2013.

Powerscreen

Powerscreen, one of the worlds leading providers of mobile crushing, screening and washing equipment, commissioned Paper Bag in partnership with Tibus to design and deliver an iPhone and iPad app.

The purpose of the app was to bring instant access to innovative developments from Powerscreen that will aid their customers in getting the right information they need at the right time.

The app leverages the built-in GPS enabling customers to have access to their nearest dealer locations and contact information, at their fingertips. The app showcases the entire Powerscreen product portfolio, with simple navigation and clear imagery. Customers can view information and photos on the range of machinery or in fact watch the crusher, screeners and washers in action. The app also provides access to company contact information, including a mapped listing of the Powerscreen offices plus a range of ways to get in touch with personnel.
